Profile
Ultravolt is the wires and cables business of the Aditya Birla Group, housed under UltraTech Cement Limited and launched in September 2026 with an investment of ₹1,800 crore — the second-largest wires manufacturing capacity in India at launch. Manufacturing is anchored at a new facility in Jhagadia, Bharuch district, Gujarat, with conductors drawn from 99.97% electrolytic-grade copper sourced from group company Hindalco. House-wire lines cover Greencore (heat-resistant FR, lead-free), SafePlus (FR-LSH, lead-free) and NextGen (electron-beam crosslinked HFFR rated 125 °C) to IS 694:2010 and IS 17048:2018, alongside flexible, submersible, solar and communication cables. Distribution targets over one lakh retailers and 5,000+ UltraTech Building Solutions outlets across 500+ districts.
