Cable Corporation of India Limited (CCI) was incorporated in 1957 and is headquartered in Mumbai. CCI manufactures low-tension, high-tension and extra-high-voltage power cables, including XLPE-insulated cables up to 400 kV designed and tested to IS 7098 Parts 1, 2 and 3 and IEC 60840 and 62067. The company also produces control, instrumentation and specialty cables for industrial and utility applications. CCI's manufacturing operations are located in Maharashtra, and its customer base includes Indian state utilities, Power Grid Corporation of India, refineries, metro rail projects and EPC contractors. The company is one of the older incumbents in the Indian power-cable industry.
