Speaker cables are twin-core flexible cables for audio system wiring — between amplifier and speaker. They use Class 5 fine-stranded copper conductors with transparent or coloured PVC insulation. The transparent jacket lets the conductor polarity show through (one conductor often has a stripe). 1100V grade, but used at audio voltages well below the rating. Sizes 0.5 to 1.5 sqmm cover residential through professional audio installation.
